Martian Salad Bar

A university brief that I enjoyed very much.
Directive: Plan an escape (any possible scenario)My approach towards the brief was the idea of escaping earth to mars through food. Replicating Martian soil and atmospheric conditions, I grew certain herbs and plants like carrots, thyme, and bellpeppers. Using those saplings, I constructed a meal with a wine reduction (advised for radiation sickness), using a minimalist aesthetic in plating to represent the futuristic design. The end result was a meal prepared on mars! I was happy with the outcome and felt it represented my intent in an unexpected but better way.
